English Counselling · Bergamo & Online · No Milan commute
Unesco heritage.
Alpine air. Ancient walls.
And finally — a therapist
who speaks your language.
The landscape is already resetting your nervous system. This is where we do the rest — in English, in Bergamo or online, with an approach that actually moves things forward.
Book a free intro callAwe makes us forget ourselves and our small concerns — opening us to new possibilities, new directions, new versions of who we might be.
Jonathan Haidt — The Anxious Generation
There is a reason people have sought nature for healing across every culture in human history. Science now explains why — exposure to natural landscapes measurably shifts the nervous system from fight-or-flight into rest and repair. Cortisol drops. The amygdala quiets. The self, with all its noise, steps back.
Bergamo is, without exaggeration, one of the most extraordinary places on earth to do this work. Unesco-listed walls. Alpine views. Ancient stone. A pace the body recognises as safe.
The landscape does part of the work before you even sit down.
This is where we do the rest.
What I Help With
The things that
keep showing up.
Common patterns that respond well to the right approach — and rarely resolve through talking alone.
Anxiety & Stress
The mind that won't switch off
Worry, overthinking, physical tension. Anxiety responds well to the right combination of approaches — and is frequently mishandled by generic talking therapy alone.
Burnout & Exhaustion
Running on empty
When the usual recovery stops working. Burnout is a mechanics problem. Understanding how your energy actually works is where the rebuild begins.
Midlife Transitions
The checkpoint nobody warned you about
Around 38–52 something shifts. Career, relationship, purpose — things that felt settled suddenly don't. A developmental stage, not a crisis. Understanding it changes everything.
Low Mood & Depression
When the colour drains out
Not every episode requires years of analysis. Many respond well to targeted, structured work — often more quickly than people expect.
Expat Life
Beautiful country. Hard adjustment.
The isolation, identity shift, relationship strain. With someone who has lived it — in your language.
Career & Leadership
At a professional crossroads
Career direction, leadership development, the invisible ceiling — with 20 years inside global organisations, I understand professional life as well as the person navigating it.
Motivation & Procrastination
Knowing what to do and not doing it
Rarely about willpower. Usually about fear, identity, or a mismatch between how you're wired and what you're trying to do.
Relationships & Patterns
The same dynamic. Again.
Relationship patterns are usually old. They respond well to work that goes beneath the surface of what's being said.
Adolescents & Teens
When the usual conversations aren't landing
Pressure, identity, anxiety, digital life. In English — with clinical qualifications, a double degree in Education, and someone who understands growing up between cultures.
The Approach
The right tool
for the job.
Most counselling uses one approach regardless of what you bring. If what you need is a different tool, you don't get it — you just get more of the same.
My approach is multi-modality. That means I draw on counselling, clinical hypnotherapy, NLP and coaching — choosing what your situation actually needs, not what a single method allows.
The goal is not to keep you in sessions. It's to help you not need them.
In line with Italian professional regulations, I practise as a Counsellor in Italy. I hold postgraduate qualifications in psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy obtained in Australia.
About
The background
behind the work.
I came to counselling through an unusual route. Twenty years in corporate HR, learning and development and organisational change — inside major international financial institutions, global law firms and large engineering organisations — before training formally in clinical practice.
Working with hundreds of high-functioning people across global organisations taught me that the presenting problem is rarely the real problem — and the solution is almost never the one someone came in with.
I moved to Italy with my family and rebuilt my practice here. I know what the expat experience actually costs. I offer counselling in English — in person in Bergamo and online worldwide — for people who are ready to actually move, not just talk about it.
